The Greenwaste service operates on a set weekly day and the frequency of collection is entirely up to you. This service operates slightly differently to our regular mixed waste services in that you must put the wheelie bin out on the curb on empty day and only garden waste (excluding flax, cabbage trees or other items restricted from Hawke's Bays composting plant) and organic household matter can be put into the wheeliebin. Your bin on the curbside indicates to us that it contains Greenwaste. If you wish to dispose of other rubbish you may do so by requesting an extra collection.
This service is in keeping with our commitment to the environment.
The Greenwaste service is only available in Hawke's Bay.
