YOUR BIN MUST BE AT CURBSIDE BY 8.00am.  We ask that you disinfect your bin handle/lid contact points before placing at curbside and after you take in again.  This is to keep both you and our drivers healthy and well.

Clean Earth Ltd is justly proud of their record of being the first to establish green waste recycling at curbside in Hawke's Bay, which they were Highly Commended for in the Hawke's Bay Environmental Awards in 2003. 

This acknowledgement was followed by winning the HB Environmental Business Awards in 2007 for their wood waste to energy program and they are the preferred providers for many of the Bay's horticultural and viticultural businesses where green waste is turned into compost or stockfood and diverted away from Landfill Disposal.

They were at the grassroots establishment of the Grandfather of Hawke's Bay's paper and cardboard recycling commercial services, Mike Coomb's business, All Brite Recycling.  Supporting that business with waste services to compliment the recycling of clean paper and cardboard product.  Now his son, Tim has followed that tradition and Clean Earth is proud to say all paper and cardboard product collected by us is recycled right here in Whakatu.

Clean Earth prefers to support recycling options where local and national markets are available.

We are the initiators of Green Waste Services Hawke's Bay at curbside and were highly commended in the Hawke's Bay Environmental Awards for that service innovation.

Woodwaste to Energy

PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR WOODWASTE TO ENERGY PROGRAM DOES NOT OPERATE OVER CHRISTMAS NEW YEAR WEEKS - PLEASE TELEPHONE FOR SERVICE IF REQUIRED.  DUE TO CYCLONE GABRIELLE ADDITIONAL FEES NOW APPLY, HOWEVER THEY WILL BE REMOVED AS SOON AS WASTE TO ENERGY DISPOSAL IF AVAILABLE AGAIN.

How it Works

Charges

We tailor our charges to suit every potential customer and to do that we need to talk with you. Find out what you need, consider options to reduce or recycle your waste output and come up with a cost effective, efficient service.

Benchmarking

Sometimes your industry may require credible confirmation of your recycling, reduction and diversion from Landfill Disposal efforts.  Talk to us about how we can assist with this.

Payment

Commercial customers are billed monthly in arrears with the full payment due on or before the 20th of the following month - we do not offer extended credit.  All services are subject to our terms of trade.  We accept VISA and Mastercard.
